About
A map made by the people who live on it.
Pixecity started with a simple question: what if a world map wasn't drawn by institutions, but by the people who actually live in its streets?
Every city is divided into 100,000 tiles. Each tile costs one dollar and can carry a name, a short message, a picture and a link. Together, those tiles turn a satellite image into something warmer — a portrait of a neighbourhood, drawn by its own community.
Cities compete a little, too. Watching your city climb the leaderboard is part of the fun, and part of the reason people invite their friends.
To be clear: claiming a tile is a digital display and participation right on this map. It is not land, real estate, territorial ownership, or a financial or investment product.
